FACILITIES & SERVICES

At Mother Ashram, Thotapalli:


Hermitages and Halls for Spiritual pursuits:

Jnanashram : Two caves to perform intense sadhana in solitude, observing silence after being initiated into sanyasa.


Janakashram : Facilities are provided to householders who, leaving their families, want to live like vanaprasthas so that they can spend the rest of their lives in prayer, meditation and other spiritual pursuits.


Maithreyi Ashram : A special place provided for women for sadhana, prayer and meditation.


Swami Ramatirtha Institute : A place where spiritual discourses and sadhana camps can be held for the spiritual seekers. There is a museum where Swami Omkar's life and message are pictorially depicted.


Santi Tapovanam : A small hillock near the Siva temple where one can meditate undisturbed for long hours peacefully.


Santi Peetham : A place where all the written volumes of Peace Prayer (likhita Japa) are preserved, to spread the potent waves of peace to the entire world.


Spiritual Healing Centre: Havan, Japa and Puja are performed daily for the well-being of the whole world..


'Peace', a quarterly magazine in English and 'Santi', a monthly magazine in Telugu propagate spiritual instructions and messages to the seekers of Truth




Social Betterment Services:


This Ashram provides food, clothing, education and medical aid to some homeless people and poor children.

Santi School : The first Gurukula Vidyalaya was established in 1954 in the Totapalli Hills. In 1981 a High school was inaugurated. 150 boys and girls are being provided free lodging and boarding. The children are imparted with value based education.




Vanaprastha : Food, shelter and medical help is extended to the old and destitutes, particularly those who have served the ashram for long, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, race and region. Also every month, rice and lentil are distributed to the old and needy.



Sushila Hospital: A small hospital where the inmates of the Ashram, guests and the people of the neighboring villages can get medical help.


Veterinary Hospital : Animals from the neighboring villages get treatment here.

At Other Branches Of Santi Ashram:


Visakhapatnam Branch: This branch was established in 1934, and a primary school was inaugurated in 1966 which has now grown into an upper primary school.


In 1974 Omkar and Lions School for Deaf and Dumb was started. Total strength of the school at present is 150 out of which 90 deaf and dumb students are provided with free lodging and boarding. They are also given training in professional courses. Junior and Senior Diploma in Fine arts was introduced and children are trained in preparing hand - made paper, Bamboo crafting, painting, wood work, clay work, stone carving etc.


Those students who have completed their High School education from Santi School are given monetary support for their higher education and Professional Courses. They are also given free food and accommodation in the Ashram.


As part of spiritual sadhana, satsangs and spiritual discourses are conducted.


Medical camps are held periodically and Allopathy and Homoeopathy medicines are dispensed.


Kotagiri Branch (Tamil Nadu): This branch was established in 1957 and in 1980 'The Viswasanti Matriculation School' was established. At present, there are 1500 students in the school. Concession in the fee structure is given to the students who are economically poor. Besides, the students also receive training in music, karate, and sports.


Once a year in the months of May-June two spiritual retreats are organized at Kotagiri Peace center for the benefit of spiritual seekers.


Kakinada Branch : Every Saturday and Sunday, free coaching is given in classical music and classical dance. Satsangs, yoga camps and spiritual programs are conducted regularly.
